Dirt Bike Tips

I am going to give you some tips that you can use while riding your dirt bike or just to improve your current skills a bit.

1. When you are turning, you have to sit as close to the gas cap as you can and get your leg out so it can help you not to fall. You should also kind of go with the bike and don’t get tense because you can fall.

2. When you are about to jump, you have to stand up and when you are about to start to fly you have to kind of accelerate so the bike doesn’t move that much. When you are in the are you have to be standing and also when you land. You can use your legs as a kind of suspension so you will not feel the landing that much.

3. When you are just going straight and there is no jumps or turns it is better to stand up so you will have more reaction if there is a rock or something like that. You can also stay down but you will not have as much of a reaction if there is an obstacle.

4. One of the most important things in riding a dirt bike is that you should always have your arms up and strong so you have more control over the bike.

5. One last tip is that in the whoops you should put your arms really strong and your legs should be pressing the bike as hard as you can so you will have much control over it and also you have to stand up, something really important also is to always keep accelerating so you will not lose as much control. The whoops are kind of the hardest part because you have to be really concentrated for not committing any error. You should also always keep your legs pressing the bike.

New renthal handlebar

 Renthal new handlebar:

This is my new handlebar that I got because the orginal Honda handlebar is really bent because I have fell really hard on my bike. It is from one of the bests handlebar brands, it is Renthal, this handlebar is harder to bend so I think that this one is going to last me and mu bike longer. I ordered it from Amazon so at first i wasn’t sure if it would fit so I did a lot of research and I finally got which one I had to buy.

Interview Juan Martinez

IJA Competition

As I told you in my last post, I was going to compete in the IJA. I competed and everything went well except that I couldn’t finish the race because of an incident that happened. It was all going well and I was winning the race, but then I didn’t control my bike well in a turn and my bike went into a ditch and my bike’s chain got stuck and it was impossible for me to keep going because my bike wouldn’t move. Here are some pictures, the video from when my bike got into the ditch and a video of the track:

On Sunday I will be competing in this year’s first enduro competition in Guatemala, it is called IJA. IJA means child, youth, and amateur. Child is were mostly everybody starts, youth is the next category and amateur is the next category. You don’t have to start in child but if you start riding a dirt bike very early it is better to start there. I am going to be competing in youth with my brother in the youth experts category. This is going to be our first time competing in an enduro competition because we were mostly training motocross. On February 1, I went to a enduro camp also that is obligatory to enter the competition, I will leave you with some pictures now.
